Advertising standards

Clear, responsible advertising.

Every campaign is reviewed before it can appear on an approved publisher website.

Identify your business

Show a recognizable business or brand name. Your domain and destination should make it clear who is behind the advertisement.

Make accurate claims

Describe your offer honestly and support factual or comparative claims. Prices, conditions and important limitations should be clear. Avoid misleading guarantees or implied endorsements.

Use authorized artwork

Only submit logos, photographs, designs and other material you own or have permission to use. Advertiser content must respect the rights of others.

Provide a safe destination

Use a working HTTPS page relevant to the message. Misleading redirects, impersonation and harmful downloads are unsuitable for the network.

Keep the creative readable

Use the required desktop and mobile sizes. Do not imitate system warnings, playback controls or other interfaces to trick visitors into clicking.

Allow time for review

Staff may request revisions or decline unsuitable material. Approval does not remove your responsibility for the content. Regulated, political or age-sensitive advertising requires an approved policy and review before acceptance.

Category-specific eligibility and final commercial policies must be confirmed before paid launch.

A practical review checklist.

Prepare evidence and permissions before submitting an advertisement.

Prices and promotional conditions

Ensure the banner’s overall impression matches the actual offer. Identify important restrictions, eligibility and additional charges clearly; a disclaimer should not contradict the main message.

Testimonials and endorsements

Use genuine, authorized testimonials. Disclose relevant relationships when an endorsement could otherwise appear independent. Do not imply municipal or network endorsement merely because an ad appears on a local website.

Images, logos and identity

Keep permission for third-party photography, artwork and brand assets. Do not impersonate another business or use imagery that misrepresents the product or service.

Changes after review

If an offer, destination or creative changes materially, contact the team for review. An earlier approval should not be treated as approval for a different claim or landing page.
