Your business details, offer, destination and preferred sites describe what you want to run. Staff still need to confirm suitability and available placements.
A clear path forward
Choose the websites that fit your business. Prepare your message. Follow what happens in one private workspace.
Explore the website catalogue and select an impression or click package. You can request several websites; staff confirm which publishers and positions are available.
Explore websitesSign in to your advertiser account. Add your business details, destination link and preferred websites, then save your request.
Prepare a campaignSupply a desktop image and a dedicated mobile image. Clear branding, a readable domain and an accurate message help your advertisement work across screens.
Check artwork requirementsStaff review the artwork and placements. Paid delivery requires a verified purchase; live checkout is currently deferred. Preparing a request does not create a booking.
Compare packagesThe publisher plugin downloads approved artwork locally and rotates eligible advertisements. Website assignments control where the campaign may appear.
Explore placementsOpen your advertisement to see approved sites, usage and observed displays. Reports show impressions and click events by website, with CSV downloads.
Open your reportsYou do not need to show other members’ banners to use Durham Advertising. If you want reciprocal promotion, explore the separate Durham Banner Exchange.
A saved request, a payment and an advertisement on a website are different milestones.

The correct size alone is not enough. Review also considers readability, the landing page, business identity, claims and permission to use images and logos.
Approved creative, eligible publisher assignments and verified live funding must all be in place. A test payment or uploaded image does not bypass these checks.
Review usage by website and date in your workspace. Authorization means a campaign may run; a recorded display is evidence that an eligible impression was observed.
Use reporting to understand delivery, then use your own website analytics to understand what visitors do next.
An impression count is an event total. It should not be described as unique reach, and it should not be treated as a count of enquiries.
A click indicates interest in following the ad. Compare it with relevant actions on your landing page, such as completed forms or purchases, before drawing conclusions about business results.
Use the same date range, website and campaign when comparing reports. Lifetime package usage and a filtered report can legitimately show different totals.
For an unexpected count or missing ad, give support the campaign identifier, website, placement, time and device. Avoid repeatedly clicking your own ad to test it.
Your business. Your community.
Choose your websites and prepare your next campaign.
